Who Works at SACL?

Our Counsellor/Advocates are highly trained professionals with specialist expertise in sexual assault and trauma.

They come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including social work, psychology, counselling, and community services, bringing a wealth of skills and perspectives to support each individual’s unique needs.

They are experienced in responding to the complex emotional, physical, and social impacts of sexual assault, and work collaboratively to provide guidance, advocacy, and practical support.

Counsellor/Advocates at SACL are committed to offering care that is respectful, inclusive, and client-centred. Their goal is to create a supportive interaction where callers feel heard, validated, and supported in making informed decisions about their recovery and wellbeing.
